REFUND POLICY

At AACHEYOVA, we take pride in offering premium handcrafted jewelry, cultural lifestyle accessories, digital Adinkra products, and educational workshops. Because many of our items are artisan-made, small-batch, or digital, our refund guidelines are structured to protect quality, hygiene, and intellectual property.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


⭐ 1. General Refund Policy

Aacheyova accepts refunds only on eligible items (see below), returned within 7 days of delivery and in unused, unworn, and original condition.

To request a refund, email us at aacheyova@gmail.com with your order number.

Refunds are issued back to your original form of payment once your return is received and inspected.


⭐ 2. Items Eligible for Refund

Only the following items qualify:

✔ Eligible

  • Unused lifestyle items

  • Non-jewelry accessories

  • Items in perfect resale condition

  • Incorrect items mistakenly shipped by us

  • Damaged items (must be reported within 48 hours)

❌ Not Eligible

For hygiene, digital rights, and craftsmanship reasons, the following are final sale:

  • Earrings

  • Bracelets

  • Necklaces

  • All wearable jewelry

  • Custom orders

  • Digital Adinkra products

  • Digital design files, printables, and downloads

  • Workshops, presentations, and virtual sessions

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked “Final Sale”

⭐ 3. Refunds on Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Email aacheyova@gmail.com within 48 hours

  2. Include photos or a short video

  3. Provide your order number and description of the issue

We will offer:
✔ A replacement
or
✔ Store credit

Natural variations in handmade Krobo beads and artisan brass are not considered defects.


⭐ 4. Non-Refundable Items

The following cannot be refunded under any circumstances:

  • Digital products (instant access)

  • Workshops & virtual events

  • Gift cards

  • Items purchased on discount, clearance, or during promotions

This is fully compliant with Shopify’s “no refund on digital goods” standards.


⭐ 5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again

  2. Contact your credit card company

  3. Contact your bank (processing times vary)

If you’ve completed these steps and still haven’t received your refund, email us.


⭐ 6. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

Aacheyova is not responsible for lost or stolen return packages — we recommend using a trackable service.

Some items may qualify for exchange for another item or store credit.
